Our Crystal Mobiles Story

In 2002 my sister gave birth to her son, Channing. We wanted to give him something meaningful to mark the occasion of his birth, something like the wishes the Fairies gave a young princess in a popular fairy tale, so we created the crystal mobile, tying stones together with beads, each one chosen for its particular properties. These crystal mobiles took on a life all of their own and still bless us today.

Our Mission

heART AT WORK® will passionately strive to ensure that economically marginalised parents from previously disadvantaged communities become the custodian of skills, empowering them to earn a sustainable income. This will enable them to provide for the basic and educational needs of their children, while being a present and effective role model. heART AT WORK® will provide craft training, micro-business management skills and foster economic opportunities in order to create a platform for a sustainable income, improving the quality of life for both parent and child.
